This is the time to start strong and make resolutions. What do you want to accomplish in this New Year? I recommend you make a resolution to pass a Microsoft certification exam or learn a new skill. Both can help you advance in your career, and may also help your partner organization attain or renew a Microsoft Partner Network competency. Here is a list of my favorite readiness resources to help you achieve your goals: 

• The Partner Learning Center is the go-to source for all Microsoft partner training – you can use the search tool to find the training you need. We also have a list of training on the Microsoft Partner Network site that’s pretty cool – you can use the filters to find exactly the training you’re searching for, such as by product or training type (sales or technical).

• Learning paths are another robust resource and my personal favorite – they’re available for Microsoft products, competencies, certification exams, and solution areas. Bookmark the paths of interest to you and check back as they’re frequently updated.

• If you’re looking for training that is specific to a certain Microsoft competency, check out the Competency Training Digest. It contains the latest news and updates relevant to each Microsoft competency. A new January version will be out soon, so bookmark the page and check back shortly.

• Practice Accelerator sessions are another way to learn. They provide a comprehensive set of reusable tools and best practices to help your company build a services practice around key Microsoft technologies.

• TechNet Virtual Labs are hands-on labs, 90 minutes or less, that help you learn about new products such as SQL Server 2012 and Office. Also check out the Office Ignite series to learn about the new Office.

DCCM Available Aug 13th, 2012	Practice Accelerator for Datacenter Consolidation and Migration This PA helps partners with engagements helping your customers to efficiently and safely migrate their virtualized workloads from VMware to the Hyper-V platform. With Hyper-V, it is easier than ever to take advantage of the cost savings of virtualization through Windows Server 2008 R2. Migration also improves operational efficiencies, and drives business agility by delivering an integrated datacenter solution. Attendees –Participants should have basic to intermediate (100- 200) technical level in the solution, but we recommend a 200 level to get the most out of Practice Accelerator.
